FIRST RESPONDER – Rescue3™

This Rescue3 course is designed to assist you in meeting the operations level as a First Responder for water incidents.
The two-day course has one day of classroom and one day of practical field exercise.
Students are trained in hazard recognition, equipment use and techniques necessary to conduct basic shore and boat based rescue.

Contents: basic skills to support technician teams in water incidents.

Requirements: intermediate swimming ability and good physical condition.

Duration: 2 days 20+ hours

Methodical struture: theory, practice on the river.

Description:
this course is designed to assist you in meeting the operations level for water incidents. The two-day course has one day of classroom and one day of practical field exercise. Students are trained in hazard recognition, equipment use and techniques necessary to conduct basic shore and boat based rescue.

Some topics:
Theory: rescue philosophy, river dynamics, gear and equipment, how to deal with bystanders and family of victims, basic rules in river rescue, self-rescue, priorities in rescue procedures, preplanning and incident command system.
Practise: swimming in the river, basic rescue techniques (Throwbag, Live Bait, Tensioned Diagonals), safety during rescue operations, communication, shallow water crossing.

Note: after completion of First Responder, certified personnel can work only under the supervision of technical level rescuers.

Cost: 200€ (+IVA 22%)

Validity:
SRT certification is valid for 3 years. In order to update the certificate it is necessary to repeat the entire course.
In every course there are five spaces available for re-certifications.
